Recently, the sodium-ion power system for electric forklifts independently developed by BOSA was officially shipped and successfully delivered to an overseas client. This marks the first successful export of a domestic electric forklift sodium-ion power system, representing a major breakthrough for BOSA in the application of sodium-ion battery technology. It fully demonstrates the company’s strong capabilities in technological R&D, product quality, and international market expansion, serving as a significant milestone in BOSA’s development journey.
The delivered electric forklift sodium-ion power system is equipped with high-performance SP71173 sodium-ion prismatic cells. Key parameters are highlighted as follows:
- Rated System Voltage: 48V
- Rated Capacity: 840Ah
- Total Energy: 40.32kWh
- Cycle Life: ≥5000 cycles

In terms of low-temperature performance, the system excels particularly well, maintaining a capacity retention rate of over 90% even in extreme cold environments of -40°C. This effectively solves the industry challenge of insufficient power for electric forklifts in cold climates, providing overseas users with stable and reliable operational support.
The system design fully addresses the harsh demands of industrial sites: the battery enclosure adopts thick-plate welding technology with an IP65 protection rating, offering excellent dust and water resistance. It integrates an advanced BMS battery management system that provides multiple safety protections including over-voltage, under-voltage, high-temperature, low-temperature, over-current, and short-circuit safeguards. Additionally, it supports real-time SOC monitoring via a power display instrument, allowing users to accurately track the battery system’s operating status and optimize energy distribution, thereby further enhancing overall efficiency and safety.
Compared with traditional fuel forklifts, BOSA’s sodium-ion electric forklift power system offers significant advantages in environmental protection, cost, and convenience: zero emissions, low electricity costs, easy maintenance, and flexible operation. It is especially suitable for high-intensity loading, unloading, handling, and stacking scenarios in logistics parks, airports, and ports.
This successful delivery represents an important step for BOSA in expanding from the domestic market to the international arena. The company will continue to closely monitor product performance in use, continuously optimize its capabilities, and meet global customer needs with even higher standards, thereby enhancing its international market penetration and brand influence.
