{"id":1740,"date":"2025-05-09T11:54:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T03:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bosaenergy.cn\/?p=1740"},"modified":"2025-12-25T13:28:46","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T05:28:46","slug":"factors-that-lead-to-thermal-runaway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bosaenergy.cn\/fr\/factors-that-lead-to-thermal-runaway\/","title":{"rendered":"Factors that lead to thermal runaway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"ember2285\">Generally, thermal runaway of lithium batteries is caused by three types of abuse, namely mechanical abuse, electrical abuse, and thermal abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember2286\">Among them, mechanical abuse refers to the battery being subjected to external forces such as collision, extrusion, and puncture;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember2287\">Electrical abuse refers to the battery being subjected to internal and external short circuits, overcharge, and discharge;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember2288\">Thermal abuse refers to the battery being subjected to external heating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember2289\">In fact, these three types of abuse are not completely independent, but are chain-related.
