Der Batteriehersteller plant, fr\u00fchestens im n\u00e4chsten Jahr eine Pilotlinie f\u00fcr seine Lithium-Eisenphosphat-Batterien aufzubauen. Die LFP-Batteriezellen von LG werden in Pouch-Zellenform gefertigt und nicht in den von chinesischen Batterieherstellern bevorzugten prismatischen oder zylindrischen Zellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LG Energy Solution plant, mit dem Mutterkonzern LG Chem zusammenzuarbeiten, um die ben\u00f6tigten Materialien f\u00fcr die LFP-Batterien zu beziehen. Das koreanische Medienportal The Elec spekuliert, dass LG Chem ein Joint Venture mit einem chinesischen Partner anstreben wird, um Rohstoffe f\u00fcr die LFP-Batterien von LG Energy Solution zu liefern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TESLA IST F\u00dcHREND BEI LFP-ZELLEN<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tesla verwendet seit letztem Jahr LFP-Batterien des chinesischen Batterieherstellers Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL). Die CATL-Batterien wurden f\u00fcr das Model 3 Standard Range Plus der Gigafactory Shanghai entwickelt. Seitdem setzt Tesla LFP-Batterien auch im Basismodell des in China gefertigten Model 3 und Model Y ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Mai 2021 k\u00fcndigte Tesla an, LFP-Batterien in seinem Megapack-Energiespeichersystem einzusetzen. Und erst letzten Monat bot Tesla US-amerikanischen Reservierungsinhabern die M\u00f6glichkeit, ein Model 3 SR+ mit LFP-Batteriepack zu erhalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elon Musk erl\u00e4utert Teslas LFP-Batteriestrategie f\u00fcr das US-amerikanische Model 3 SR+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LFP-Batteriemarkt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teslas Umstieg auf LFP-Batterien schien bei der ersten Ank\u00fcndigung ein Wagnis \u2013 eines, das sich als \u00e4u\u00dferst erfolgreich erwiesen hat. LG Energy Solutions str\u00e4ubte sich zun\u00e4chst gegen die Entwicklung von LFP-Batterien, da eisenbasierte Zellen eine geringere Energiedichte aufweisen und somit die Reichweite pro Ladung reduzieren. Zudem sind LFP-Batterien schwerer als ihre Nickel-Kobalt-Mangan- (NCM) und Nickel-Kobalt-Aluminium-Pendants (NCA). Die weitverbreitete Nutzung von LFP-Batterien durch Elektrofahrzeughersteller scheint das Unternehmen jedoch umgestimmt zu haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tesla verwendet LFP-Batterien aufgrund der geringeren Reichweite nur f\u00fcr die Basisvarianten seiner Fahrzeuge. LFP-Batterien bieten jedoch auch Vorteile. So sind beispielsweise eisenbasierte Zellen g\u00fcnstiger in der Herstellung und \u00fcberhitzen oder entwickeln selten ein thermisches Durchgehen \u2013 ein Aspekt, den LG Energy Solutions angesichts der j\u00fcngsten Probleme mit dem Chevy Bolt EV von GM m\u00f6glicherweise genauer untersuchen sollte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Entwicklung von LFP-Batterien k\u00f6nnte sich f\u00fcr LG Energy Solutions langfristig als kluger Schachzug erweisen.
