Daher \u00fcberrascht es nicht, dass diese Anlage letzten Monat erneut in den Nachrichten war, als Tesla mit der Massenproduktion von Batterien begann, um sein Ziel einer Kapazit\u00e4t von 35 GWh und mehr zu erreichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So spannend dieses Projekt auch ist, es ist tats\u00e4chlich nur eines von mehreren gro\u00dfen \u201cMegafabriken\u201d, die derzeit gebaut werden \u2013 viele davon in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">China f\u00fchrt den Angriff an<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir sprachen mit Simon Moores, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, der erkl\u00e4rte, dass Tesla mit seinen Ambitionen, Lithium-Ionen-Batterien in gro\u00dfem Ma\u00dfstab herzustellen, weder allein noch einzigartig ist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\u00e4hrend die Tesla Gigafactory aus Sicht der vertikalen Integration der Elektroautoindustrie von entscheidender Bedeutung ist, wird der Gro\u00dfteil der neuen Lithium-Ionen-Batteriekapazit\u00e4t in China gebaut. Einige dieser Werke werden voraussichtlich riesig sein, wie beispielsweise die CATL-Anlage mit 50 GWh \u2013 es besteht kaum ein Zweifel daran, dass Chinas Lithium-Ionen-Industrie ihren Durchbruch geschafft hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL) plant den Bau der gr\u00f6\u00dften Lithium-Ionen-Megafabrik der Welt \u2013 doch das Unternehmen ist in Nordamerika kaum bekannt. Es hat bereits einen Wert von 11,5 Milliarden US-Dollar und k\u00f6nnte im Batteriesektor weltweit eine dominierende Rolle spielen, wenn es seine Lithium-Ionen-Produktionskapazit\u00e4t bis zum Jahr 2020 versechsfacht und auf 50 GWh erh\u00f6ht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Andere chinesische Hersteller verfolgen einen \u00e4hnlichen Kurs. Panasonic, LG Chem und Boston Power errichten neue Megafabriken in China, w\u00e4hrend Unternehmen wie Samsung und BYD bestehende Werke erweitern.
