Batterier er mest s\u00e5rbare over for uj\u00e6vn opvarmning og afk\u00f8ling. For h\u00f8je temperaturer kan for\u00e5rsage celleudbuling, forkorte batteriets levetid og endda udg\u00f8re sikkerhedsrisici. For lave temperaturer reducerer opladnings- og afladningseffektiviteten betydeligt. Derfor skaber termostyringssystemet et &quot;konstant temperaturmilj\u00f8&quot; for pakken, hvilket sikrer, at alle battericeller fungerer inden for et temperaturomr\u00e5de p\u00e5 5\u00b0C eller mindre. De nuv\u00e6rende almindelige termostyringsmetoder er opdelt i to kategorier. Luftk\u00f8ling bruger ventilatorer, varmevekslere og andre komponenter til at fjerne varme gennem luftstr\u00f8mmen.
